Add me to the cannot wait list
Faxed in my cpw's into TP yesterday. Thanks again to Mike, Crystal and the staff at Troyer Performance for helping me get my computer code. I am one of those lucky ones with no sticker after a reflash and non service from the dealership. Magnaflow muffler is on and it's
awesome, can't wait for the xcal2 and AF1 to see what kind of beast this truck can really be.

Hi davidmf & 01Roush,
Congratulations on "pulling the trigger," so to speak - we'll get your tuning done as quickly as we can, & thanks for your faith in us, we greatly appreciate it.
We know it can be a PITA when you have one of those undocumented reflashes, so we try to offer several options for getting that info with as little trouble as possible.
Thanks again for your posts, & good luck with your new go-fast goodies!

Mike,
I opted to go for a 92tow and a 92 performance tune. Mainly because the nearest place to get 93 is about 20 miles away. But I can get 92 in town. Just curious to how much of a difference there would be from a 93 to a 92 tune.
I know I should call but. This really isn't that important. Just trying to make conversation.
Also, on my CWS under the fuel pump type, I put shell 92. I have no idea what I was thinking there. It should be stock. :o
Damn am I bored. lol
Hi Rick Krusher,
Forgive me, I absolutely missed your post - D-oh!
The difference between 92 and 93 octane is minimal, so small it would be hard to identify even on an *accurate* dyno in the best hands - it would depend just as much on the BTU content of the fuel used at that point (meaning with just 1 point of difference in octane) as it would the octane number.
The way we set up the tuning, if you run across some 93 octane, you'll automatically pick up the additional power anyway, so if you get some 93, you won't miss out on anything. We basically do that with all our premium gas tuning, so that if, for example, someone out in California, where 91 octane is the norm for premium fuels, travels east and drops in a tank of 93, they're going to pick up that additional power automatically.
So don't worry, you're not going to miss anything you could ever feel in the seat of the pants between 92 and 93.

Hi Everyone,
In order (I thkink)..........
N2Lake & khindal - We know that feeling too, on all of our vehicles here we can't get enough mods on them quick enough - seems like it never ends, especially when you're having fun improving the performance & driveability of these vehicles - it can be a progressive "disease."
Speaking of which, my 2004 Cobra still has 6 boxes of parts to go on it, including a bigger blower that I meant to have installed moths ago, but just have not had the time, between all the custom tuning, the new shop, etc. I had planned on having it in the low 10's but last summer - so I'm *way* behind!
For Thayer & MattV - congratulations on getting in the Group Buy! I'm glad to hear Crystal took good care of you Thayer, & I'll definitely pass along your thanks to her (they love hearing kudos).
Enjoy your weekend everyone,
