I hope I have managed to show this in a manner that is professional, as I have to admit that I was a bit disturbed when I first saw people trying to claim that we were NOT doing our tunes in order - we take our credibility more seriously than most realize - but we also know that everyone is simply human, and that this was just a silly and small misunderstanding - so my apologies if my tone is a bit off, but I had to make the actual facts clear - and anyone that has a question about this, who wants to discuss this, is more than welcome to call me personally. In fact, I tried reaching Dan (01Roush) just a few minutes ago so I could speak with him personally as well, but just got his voicemail - he and Derrik were the ones concerned about this, and I had already spoken to Derrik earlier today (who is, by the way, a very nice young man who is kindly working with us to find a company to do our windshield banner, so hats off to Derrik - thank you!).
I hope that clears this up for you, & thanks for your concern!

I hope I didn't ruffle your feathers in anyway. That was in absolutely no way my intention.
I didn't write that post to b*tch or complain at all. I was just saying to David that he's lucky that his is on the way.
IF I sounded in anyway that I was unhappy, I completely retract that statement. I wasn't trying to imply anything about you not doing them in order.
If anything, Mike has been more than nice about everything I have talked to him about.
Now that I read my post I can understand where you thought I was concerned about it. Just to assure you, I'm not. You could wait until April to do my tunes and I wouldn't mind. I know that the product I get will be well worth the wait.
I want to apologise if I seemed out of line. That wasn't my intention.
And to everybody else,
If anybody questions Mikes motives, don't. I really suggest you give him a call and talk to him personally before making any assumptions. Mike is one of the nicest guys I've talked to on the phone, and if you talk to him for even 10 min. I guarantee you'll think the same. He's even nicer on the phone than his posts make him out to be.
So Mike, my hats off to you bud.
Let me apologize to anyone I may have confused and/or upset with my original post, and my apology to Mike and the great folks at TP for any issues I may have created. I am living proof that just ordering an xcal2 from TP will make you crazy and delirious with anticipation.
I also wanted to add that I just completed my AF1 install 1.25 hrs, will detail later, and installed my 87 perf tune. Took the best for a spin and noticed the difference in shifting an normal driving and the nice firm shifts at WOT. Need to burn about half a tank to load up the 93 perf and see how the beast reponds.

I think he has a 30 minute minimum.
Mike, I'm sorry you took my comment more seriously than it was intended, I just thought it odd that someone who posted that they faxed in the day after I did had tuner in hand when I have no idea when mine will ship. I haven't been in a hurry as I've been getting my motor reassembled and reinstalled, but should be firing it up tonight so...uhhh...any time now....

Missed a call from my wife while talking to him, tried to call her back and only got a couple rings before it died.......at least it made it through the important stuff...

I was informed it would take 10-20 business days. From the 7th of February and given the spiked workload, I would not be surprised to see it take until the first week of March. I don't want that to be the case, but I am prepared to hunker down and fend off my anxiety amid a growing supercell of excitement.

For what it's worth. I jumped on this band wagon about a week or so ago. Really looking forward to seeing what this programming power gain game is all about.
For now I'll concentrate on what exhaust or tires I want to put on next.... Before you know it, it's Christmas in March... or when ever the Xcal2 arrives...
Thanks for offering a cool deal!

Hi Guys!
Most importantly, for Rock Krusher (Derrik) and 01Roush (Dan) -
I too, sincerely hope that my responses didn't ruffle your feathers, so to speak - and if I did, please accept my apologies, as I'd never want to do that!!
It seems that I keep having to confess to this on a more frequent basis here lately - meaning my lack of skills as a writer - sometimes the tone of my words just don't convey the tone in which I'm actually thinking when I try to get across factual info, and please forgive me for that! Sometimes people tease me calling me "the original Data" - you know, the emotionless automaton from Star Trek The Next Generation!
I did appreciate the opportunity to speak with Dan for quite some time the other day, as I was going over some final info on his tuning, which is now done and one it's way!
And for Rock Krusher, he & I have had the opportunity to speak on a few occasions, as he is very kindly working with us on finding a shop that can handle making Troyer Performance windshield banners in a manner that is acceptable to us - and he has done QUITE a bit of work in that regard, for which we thank him greatly! The poor guy has talked to numerous companies in his area, and finally found one that we think might be a good candidate - and as soon as I can catch my breath here a bit between the new shop and getting these Group Buy tunes out, we'll be speaking with that shop.
And by the way Derrik, your tuning is done and on it's way as well!
For those keeping score on our custom tuning turn-around time, we are at 15 business days, from the time we get your CPW's to the time we have the tuning done and are shipping it out the door - so the Group Buy has not really slowed us down, it's just made us work much harder! The Group Buy has added, at most, about 2 more working days to our normal average turn-around time on our custom tunes, just FYI in general.
So for both of your gentlemen, thanks very much for your posts, and by all means, we are "cool" - I am especially grateful for all the time that Dan spent with me over this past weekend going over all the details on this very unusual configuration that is a bit of a challenge to tune, and for Rock Krusher for all his many calls & time spent helping us to find a company to get our windshield banner done. For those who have kept up with our "saga" on that, we have been thru numerous companies who all said they could do it, including taking a couple of 1997-203 and then a 2004 F-150 up and leaving them at a couple of companies so that they could get the profile of the windshield, etc - and neither one of them, even with having the vehicles sitting there on their parking lots, could do a darn thing that looked even remotely acceptable - so it's been a nightmare getting what would seemingly be a simple thing to do.
What we have found is that getting windshield banners done for cars is far easier - their don't have anywhere near the amount of curvature to their windshields, and they are much smaller windshields, too - but in these late-model F-150's, they are huge windshields, and have a significant curvature to them, so it's been a real PITA to try to get this done in a manner acceptable to us - so many thanks to you both!
