I know this has been talked about before but I cant figure it out. How do you get the setting to save? The following is what I did.

1. changed tire size from 2926 to 2559
2. enter
3. done

After the program was complete I went back in to check the settings. I clicked on load previous settings and then checked the tire size and it read 2926 again.

WHAT AM i DOING WRONG??

 

Mine does the same, I was thinking it was default values in the Evolution but not for sure.

 

You have to save your settings, I can't remember if it says "save settings", but it is something like that if I remember correctly. After you make your changes, you have to toggle up and select the "save settings"? I will have to run out to my truck and check. But after you do that you should be able to go back and select "load previous settings" and your changes should still be there.

 

I dont remember seeing a "save settings" option.

 

OK, I went out to the truck and checked. It does not say "save settings", it says "Done". My memory sucks.

After you make changes, you have to toggle up and select "Done" and then it will go through the steps of reprogramming the PCM. Later then, if you go back to custum settings for the level you made changes in and toggle down to and select "Load Previous Settings" the values that you changed should show up.

EDIT: I see from the first post that you selected "done". I guess I don't know what is going on then. I know the first time I went and looked after making changes, my changes were gone.......I had not selected the "load previous settings". When I finally figured out that that had to be selected my changes showed up. I hope you get it figured out.
