This hurricane has really killed me. We are using my truck back and forth to New Orleans and I have been towing a trailer every day since and it has really been a pita.. It is like a mule on harvest day.... Thats why I have been so impatient for my tuner.. Traveling back in forth is a pain, espaecially when you need that extra jump to get in and out of traffic....
Hi Daves F-150,
Glad to see your XCal 2 is on it's way now - I had responded to you in another thread that if you wanted to know status, shoot us quick email or call & we'd check it for you. Guess you can ignore that post now!
Normally it takes about 10-14 business days from the time we get each customer's properly completed CPW's (Custom Program Worksheets) back until the time we get the tuning completed and the unit is ready to ship - then it's just a matter of how far away each customer is & how they have us ship it. Due to some software issues a little while back, it got to be more like about 20 business days, but we're getting that backlog knocked out again at this point - so we'll soon be back to our more normal 10 or so business days from the time we get the CPW's back.
I know it's hard to wait - many people (naturally) think only about the day they placed their order as they're so excited & anxious to get it - not when we actually get their CPW's, or the shipping time, etc. In many cases, it's 1-2 weeks after the order is placed before we get the CPW's back from the customer - then with some people, they get them knocked out & back to us the very next day - and everything in between.
Thanks very much for your patience, we sincerely appreciate that & hope you enjoy your new Troyer Performance custom tuning -
By the way - our best wishes for all of you there in LA and MS, etc. in areas that were devastated by the hurricane, and all the other people so far away from the actual impact zone that are affected so drastically by the human tragedy the storm has caused - I hope things get better for you!

Thanks for your concerns.. We were without electricity for 13 days but I was prepared for that. If it even thinks about raining our electricity goes out if you know what I mean.....
Yea it has been hard waiting on the programmer. I was a little disappointed in the delivery of the product. But completely understand that when you order something custom, thats what it is. Custom. Im just not used to the wait times.. Im in sales also and always trying to commit to customer support, sales and satisfaction, so I feel your pain.... Dont worry Troy, I may not have liked the delivery times but Im sure you will be GOD again in a day or so......
Hey thanks for getting me a quality tune and not a Generic tune.. Have a good day..
Hi Daves F-150,
13 days s a long time to be without power - out here in the country where we are, we tend to lose power at the drop of a hat, too - and ours is supplied by a co-op - nice people, but the service can be lacking at times. Any time the wind blows more than about 10 mph or so, we expect to lose power - that's life out in the country, as we're basically in a national forest, so with all the power lines having to go thru so many trees, etc., it can be hard to service.
Since you are in sales, then you know all too well the issues with trying to provide the best possible customer service - I hate it when we're above our normal lead times on our custom tunes, but then, that's what going custom gets you - *custom*, and that takes time. We are very **** about testing, and we get frequent updates to our databases for these vehicles - each time that happens, we have to test all over again to make sure there are no issues, so about every 60 days or so, we'll run into something we need to work thru so there are no issues. It's all part of the custom tuning world in these F-150's, which is the hardest vehicle to tune consistently due to the hundreds of different PCM revisions each model year alone - no other vehicle has so many revisions like that. Which is why to get world-class tuning for these trucks, we have to specialize and have done so for the past 14 years.
So it sometimes takes a little longer, but the results are worth the wait - I hope you enjoy yours when it arrives, & thanks for your post!
PS - I hope this next storm misses you there - looks like it might be a Category 3 storm by the time it makes landfall if it's predicted path stays as currently projected - nobody can tell just exactly where it's going to hit just yet, so we're saying prayers for everyone!
