IS there a way a SCT dealer can upgrade the tunes in a 1714 or do i have to buy a xcal2? Is there a way to change fuel/timing with 1714?

I don’t think so. There’s a few thing on the 1714 you can adjust yourself but new custom tunes can’t be installed on them

No, the 1714 cannot be changed, it's always going to be exactly what it is. Nobody can "tweak" those tunes, and you cannot get any more out of it.

One option would be to offer it for sale here on F-150 Online's free Classified Ads section, and use those proceeds to reduce some of the cost to upgrading to our custom tuning - if you want to go that route. Just a thought.

In the meantime, enjoy the 1714, it's the best of the "standard" tuning devices!
