Arrow ----Question on Xcal2

I guess I should be expecting Mike to be answering this one.......

I have the '04 F150 SupCrew. I already have 33" tires with leveling kit. I am looking at an additional 3" body lift and 35" tires. Will the Xcal2 and tunes really be applicable to a truck with those type of mods? I don't expect to be a drag master, but I would like a little more beef if you know what I mean.

I already have exhaust and K&N FIPK installed.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi sportmanst,

There are many *thousands* of F-150 owners with your exact same mods - and yes, at the risk of playing salesman, our custom tuning delivered in the XCalibrator 2 will make that vehicle *must* more enjoyable, more responsive and thus safer in various traffic situations, as well as more capable all around.

Ideally, sure - we'd like to see a set of 4.30 or even 4.56 gears installed, but that is something you can always do later on as finances permit, if you like.

You might also want to give some thought to our brake upgrade package to compensate for those much heavier wheels & tires (and vehicle lift), to maintain proper stopping distances and brake fade characteristics, etc - just a thought.

But yes, the bottom lien is, our custom tuning is literally the generally best bang for the buck enhancement you can make to that vehicle, and would be a great help in your situation.

Thanks for your post, & please feel free to give us a call to go over any of this in more detail!

Thanks for the help...I'm gonna check out that brake upgrade.

I may prove my mechanical inability right here, but do you know what gearing I have in the '04 5.4 SupCrew 4x4?
