87 Octane Max Performance Tune?

Is anyone using the Troyer 87 Octane Max Performance Tune for a daily driving? The reason that I'm asking is because I'm trying to decide which tunes to go with.

1.) 87 Octane Max Performance Tune (daily driving i.e. work and play)
2.) 87 Octane Tow Tune (very rarely do I tow)
3.) 93 Octane Max Performance Tune (if I'm feeling rich to spend the money for premium gas)

Do you guys in Texas get 93 Octane gas? Tops out here in CA and AZ is 91.

What is the performance difference between 87 "max" performance and 87 performance?

jrack04 I would suggest you get

87-octane – Performance
93-octane – Tow-Preferred
93-octane – Max-Performance

because this way you got all your bases covered. If an emergency situation arose, where you had to tow and had 93-octane in the tank you could and if you had 87-octane in the tank you could also tow safely by putting the stock tune back in.

Not true...You better do your home work before making a statement like that as it is apparent you do not know what you are talking about.
There are several diffences between a performance and a max performance tune. A/F ratios, timing, shift points, just to mention a few....

Good suggestions, thanks. I'll soon buy one but it will have to wait till I recover from the wedding and honeymoon.

I didn't know that. When I ordered the Stage 1 with the Xcalibrator a couple weeks ago, which I'm still waiting for, the lady never said anything about a performance and a max performance.

I ordered...
87 Performance
91 Tow
91 Performance
But I would rather have maximum.
