In terms of the best hardware to use, as Vic (MGDFan) kindly mentioned din his post, hands down that's the XCalibrator 2 - it has amazing features such as email update capability, diagnostics, a high-speed datalogger, and much more. Now as to the actual tuning, we do *custom* tuning for each individual vehicle - we provide a set of 3 different custom tunes set up however each individual vehicle owner requires for how they use their vehicle, preferences, etc. We go over all of that in detail when each customer calls us to place their order - don't worry, all of that is easy to go over.
You can order it online from us, but I advise calling us simply because as a registered member of F-150 Online, you get a special discount on our tuning products that is NOT reflected in the price you see on our web site - so calling us with your F-150 Online screen name gets you a significantly lower price on your tuning products!
