buckdropper,

Give Mike Troyer a call at troyerperformance.com . They can custom tune the programmer to your vehicle and your mods. They are a great group to work with and they are very very good at what they do. Hope this helps.

The Xcalibrator (9300) would be a good choice. You get 3 custom tunes done specifically for your trucks PCM code. Custom tuning will give you the biggest safe and sustainable hp & torque gains. Most importantly, you want the most qualified person doing the tunes for you. This would be Mike of Troyer Performance. Remember, a hand held tuner is a piece of hardware and it will only be as good as the programs installed in it. Mike specializes in tuning F150’s. Mike is the tune maestro!

Hi Jim

What will actually get you the best results is our Troyer Performance custom tuning, as we have specialized in performance tuning the F-150 platform for many years - in fact, we are frequently called in to provide assistance to other companies in this industry on this platform due to our expertise.

As long as the engine is healthy and not using oil, and the maintenance is up to snuff, you can even drop a supercharger on at 160K miles and enjoy it for another 50K miles or more, as these modular motors are pretty tough and long-lasting - you just need to have the maintenance up to snuff to get the proper results from performance mods and not have driveability issues, etc. We go over all of this in great detail with every customer who orders our custom tuning in our Custom Program Worksheets.

Please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below & or staff will be happy to help you with all of this.

Thanks for dropping by & hope to hear from you!
