SCT question for Mike
SCT question for Mike
Hey Mike ,
I was told that the SCT arrives to you as a blank, if so what tunes are you using for the 6.0 Diesel?
Do you have your own custom tunes or are they someone elses?

For what must be the 10,000th time - we do our OWN custom tuning, nobody does that for us. Our custom tuning is just that - **OUR** custom tuning. And how we develop that tuning is by a lot of painstaking & expensive R&D, testing, etc., etc.
By the way - Dale (J) is looking better of late. The last few years haven't been great for him, but seems like his team is coming together now - it's so competitive the difference between the front runner and the back markers is so small these days....................Sometimes his finishes don't really show it, but his team has been making some progress.

Hi MGDFan (Vic),
Funny post!
Actually, "jarrettruelz88" is a good guy, he's been around here for a while now, several years if memory serves. He hasn't dropped by this section for a little while, so he may not realize that this same topic has come up several times just in the past 7-10 days or so. (Just FYI). It was nice to see him drop by again, & we wish him well.
And thanks for your post, too. BTW, I responded to your other post where you were asking to to expand a bit on a few comments you had seen me make in some other posts, I don't know if you've seen that yet or not, I just posted it a few minutes ago.

Sorry to tick everyone off.
I did use the search and got NOTHING for "SCT Diesel programming". Diesels get very little mention in this forum so searching for anything Diesel turns up very little.
Also Mike, I was not aware you had your own Diesel programs since you mostly sell programs for gassers.
Thanks anyway.

Hi jarrettruelz88.
Don't worry about a thing, you didn't "**** off" anyone - didn't mean to give that impression!
You're right in that in our *custom* tuning, we are known more for our gas custom tuning - but no matter what we tune, when we do our custom tuning, it's just that *our* custom tuning.
Just a little background on this - every few months or so, and here again just lately over the past few weeks there have been several people coming by here (and a couple with ulterior motives) either trying to insinuate or claim things like trying to make people think in some half-@ss semi-disguise manner posting that somehow we aren't actually doing our own tuning, etc. You know how the Internet is, there are always going to be a few jackasses, jealous nobodies, idiots just repeating what they see someone else saying on some other website and then come here repeating it representing it as their own personal knowledge and as fact, etc. Typical "little man" syndrome kinda silliness, you know. So when someone else puts up a post that could in any way possibly even remotely be construed as making that kind of implication (that somehow we aren't doing our own custom tuning), it tends to not get a "favorable" flavor of response, as it relatively appropriate in many cases - you get my drift, just the typical Internet silliness that happens sometimes.
Don't worry about it, you've been here a long time & I'm sure you weren't trying to claim that we don't do our own custom tuning, etc - so we're cool as usual, & good to "see" you again!
By the way - what did you think of the dash last night at Charlotte? It was nice to see Mark Martin pull it off, eh?
