I recently put 315/70/17 on my 5.4L 2001 Screw(automatic) 3.55 gears. I don't have any other modifications. I want to get my speedometer and odometer reading correctly and make up for any lost power that may have occurred with my tire upgrade.

I am looking at the Hypertech Power Programmer III or the Superchip 1715.

I only plan on using the 87 octane package on both. I do tow a boat in the summer if that makes any difference in comparing the chips.

Or do I get a Superchips Custom Tuner(Mike) because I read that the Superchips 1715 does not provide any horsepower increase when using the 87 octane package.

I need help. It looks like I have found both Tuners(Hypertech and Superchips) for $325 with Free shipping.

Anything I should be concerned with if I go with the Hypertech and do those prices seem reasonable?
