How to Get CE Codes

Hello everyone It's been a while that I have had to post here but I need help..!!!

Being this is a Computer question I thought I'd post here too..
Note: Sig shows Truck has a Chip.. It was removed Months ago

The CE light is on, I know on my other car I can turn the Key afew times and get the code with out any scanner or external device.

Does the F150 offer something like this? If so...

How can I get the code(s) from the truck to find out why the light is ON...?

Oh yea, It's a:
2002 F150
4.6 V8

Mods:
AirForceOne Intake
Gibson Catback

Thank You ALL,

Andre S.

You need an OBD-II code scanner to retrieve DTC's setting the MIL lamp (CE, or SES, same thing).

Drop by any AutoZone & they'll scan your codes for free, as will many other auto parts stores.

BTW, nice "fleet" of FoMoCo's you have there - looks like you're a serious Ford person - nice to have you join us here!

You might want to give some thought to picking up an OBD-II code scanner (or a Micro Tuner, which has one built in) so you can immediately snag your own codes any time - just a thought, since you own so many OBD-II FoMoCo vehicles.

Good luck,
