Difference between 1715's performance and perf-tow tune?

Hello,
I have a 2002 F-150 SuperCrew w/5.4 L Triton engine. I have the superchip model 1715 currently in performance tune. What is the difference between performance tune and perf-tow tune besides the fact that one allows you to tow?

Specs:
5.4 L V-8 Triton engine
Airforce One CAI
3" exhaust from cats to 3.5" tips
Flowmaster muffler coming off each cat
Superchip 1715 in Performance tune

Thanks.

perf is leaner and makes some more hp- tow runs richer so while towing- the egt's exhaust gas temps remain lower -via cooling the cats--phil

Well said Phil, that's *exactly* right.

The actual difference in power between those 2 programs in the 1715 is anywhere from a low of about 6 HP to a high of about 10 HP at the rear wheels.

BTW Phil - Anita mentioned you had tried to reach me - things have been crazy-hectic over the past week especially, but today would be a decent day to call me if you like. Tomorrow I'll be out again, then Friday I should be back in, just to let you know...........talk to you soon!
