Hi Carl,

Hang in there, it shouldn't be much longer, they were working on your program today, as they have to do the speedo corrections, if you are who I think you are (and it's hard to remember with all these screen names sometimes! ).

Just so you'll have a feel for how this works, how long a given custom program takes depends on how many custom programs they have ahead of yours when your order was entered, that determines how long before they get to each custom program. Once they get to it, it's just a matter of a few hours in most cases to complete, so it all depends on how many are ahead of you when your order arrives, basically, it's done on a first in-first out basis.

If you have any questions about this, please get in touch with us directly rather then here on the boards, as this is a public web site, it's not *our* web site ; the Webmaster here requires us (and rightly so) to discuss things that are between customer and vendor in nature privately, off the public boards here. We do discuss many things about the Superchip here, as we try to offer help and a lot of information; it's just things that are between vendor & customer in nature that need to be discussed privately between the 2 parties, rather than here on the boards.

We know you're anxious, it's only natural of course when you're waiting, so if you want to check status, please just shoot us an email or give us a call, whatever is more convenient for you, and we'll be happy to check for you!

Mike,

That message wasn't meant for you, just wanted to share my thoughts with others. I am very anxious, as you may imagine, and have no ill feelings toward you or the company you run. I think you guys are great! Every question I had, you answered in more detail than I expected. Thanks for your help!

Hi Carl,

No problem at all, we know you're not complaining, you're just anxious like most people are when they order a new part (toy?), and it's perfectly natural!

As a matter of fact, we just left you a voicemail, as we needed one other piece of info from you to finish your program, so when you get home, please check your answering machine.

Talk about being anxious, back about 6 years ago, when Steve Saleen was having financial difficulties (before Tim Allen & others stepped in), I had ordered a 700+ hp supercharged 351 Saleen Mustang, with a motor to die for, a special build even for them, basically somewhat like one of Tim Allen's cars Steve built for him. After waiting for the better part of 2 years with no build date set still, I finally gave up on it, but that whole time I was drooling, and couldn't wait to hear the next bit of news, trivia, or anything at all about it. *That* was anxious!

Talk to you soon,
