Hello people, just would like to know where you found used chips for those prices? I have not seen any around for a while.
Thanks, Benny.

I just went down the classifieds on this page and emailed them all and offered them $50.00 till someone took it. ;-)

A fellow F150 online member left me a post that he had a superchip with my computer code for sale in the classifieds. If you check frequently, you might get lucky and find one.

Thanks, I will keep an eye open for one.
Where do I find my computor code? Is it in the vin number or on the computor?
Thanks, Benny

Hi Benny,

To find your computer code on the 1997 & newer F-150, simply open your passenger door, and look in the front part of the door frame, in the general area of the door hinges. You will see a sticker there with 3 letters and 1 number on it, and that is your computer code.

Sometimes in 97's those stickers will be missing, so you can also find it by looking on the computer itself. The computer is mounted inside the cabin, on the passenger side, to the right of the dash assembly and just above the passenger's kick panel. It is held to it's mounting bracket by a black pressure clip. Simply pull that clip off, and then look on the computer where the clip was covering up, and you'll see another code sticker right there.

Good luck! https://www.f150online.com/f150board/smile.gif
