I NEED HELP!!
ok here is my dilemna. i am interested in getting a chip however i don not want to sacrifice mileage for horsepower. can you please advise..............

Superchip. I just sent Mike Troyer a post on how much I like the one I installed. You and I have the same engine and same year model truck. I have had mine in for approximately one month, and most of my driving is in town with very few highway miles. So far I get about 1 m.p.g. better. I have to run the A/C constantly because our temperatures have been close to 110 degrees lately. The only possible drawback is that you have to run premium to get the benefits of the chip. The slight mileage increase helps to offset paying a little more for premium. All the positives make it a good deal in my book.

Just as Rick said, you won't get worse gas mileage with the Superchip. In fact, like he said, most people tend to see a small improvment in gas mileage with the Superchip.
Now of course some people will get a bit worse mileage right after they first install the Superchip, just because they're using heavier throttle than normal checking out the new performance levels. Once the newness or novelty of a new go-fast part wears off, you should see a small improvment in mileage in most cases. It's just a by-product of the performance tuning on part-throttle, so your results will really depend on how you drive the truck, just like before the Superchip.
