In short, the Superchip Flip Chip for the Lightning holds 2 programs, both the stock factory program and the performance program, and it allows you to select which program your vehicle runs on by literally flipping the switch, which is already pre-wired, all you have to do is mount it where you want it. The raw power gains are 25 hp at the rear wheels minimum, but it also adds power *all* the time, at any throttle position, so it also improves everyday driveability too. It's been shown to reduce 1/4 mile times by anywhere from 3 to 8 tenths of a second, with 4-5 tenths being the average reduction.
