What's the verdict on your ride???

1999 F250 SD CC, LWB, 5.4L, Auto, 3.73, 4x4, Power TT mirrors w/ marker lights, White, Full Tint, PendaPro SR, FlowmasterDelta 40 series, K&N filtercharger, Superchip(Airbox removed for a second try, maybe in the winter it will be advantagous?)

Ok guys my Superchip is in and I love it. It seemed that I am the first with the jumper issue with my computer code. It turned out not to be the contacts. Thank god cause I was so pissed at myself when we thought that was the cause. Anyway as stated on here before the shifts are alot better,and it's more responsive off the line. I can feel the extra power each time that gas pedal is pressed. My V6 is alive now. I am checking the gas milage with the first tank since the Superchip was put in to see if I gain anything there. Now the last thing I need is an Airaid. I called Airaid and they said that they are working on one for the V6's. Actually I think I am going to try what you did spaceace before I spend the $200 on one.
I want to close this repley to say thank you to everyone that helped me with this matter. Thanks for the responses. Mike thanks for all your help.. and your customer service is the best.. I mean what else can be said. Tell the guys at Superchips thanks for the quick turn around.

Your AAT4 code was the first ever not to have that jumper connected that we have seen! AAT3's were sometimes affected, but *never* before has an AAT4 been affected, so that is why I surmised from your description that you had probably just gone too far on one side of your contacts. We (Superchips & us) figured that this one board simply was done wrong, it's not part of the production runs that were affected earlier by this. So it looks like you just had an "oddball" deal. At any rate, it was very easy to fix, and now you're up and running with your new Superchip, YAHOO!

Congrats on the chip. I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL ! I had the guilt thing going for a couple of days.
Make sure if you do the airbox mod, that all the joints are tighter than a frog's a**. Especially the airbox to tube. If not , you will have the biggest off idle hesitation known to man.
