Hey Neal, I know this isnt related to the chip forum but I know your here often. Just wondering if the intake manifold off of a 1999 F-250 with a 5.4 Trition is the same as the plastic one off of a 2001 5.4?

 

HI!... The *F-150* got "P.I" heads and intake manifold in "99" The F-250 didn't get the "P.I" engine untill "2000". There was some freak F-250 trucks that got "P.I" 5.4's in "99" but they were right as the year ended into "2000". They are very rare. The best way to check if the "99" F-250 your looking at to get the intake has "P.I" heads on it is to look above the exhaust ports on the heads. They should have a casting # with the letters PI with them. Here's a pic :
