Air Conditioning Problem

I have a "97 Ford F-150 Lariat Super Cab with 4.6 engine and 93,000 miles. About a month ago the compressor started cycling on/off very rapidly. The repair shop said the refrigerant was OK, but the low cycle switch was bad. Replaced and everything OK for about 30 days. Now doing same thing again and this time the air discharge is only slightly cool. Anyone else had this kind of problem? Suggestions?

I have a 98 f-150. just recently the AC started getting cool-not cold and the compressor would cycle on and off every 2 to 3 seconds. took it in last Friday, they added 1 pound of freon and put dye in system to help indentify leaks. am supposed to go back in this Friday for follow-up. cools great now, there must be a very slow leak somewhere in system. hopefully the dye will indicate location of problem.
