Do I need to reinstall the micro tuner in my truck, if the battery has been dead for several days?

The performance tune from the Micro Tuner is stored in the manner as your factory stock program, so that's something you do not have to worry about - you can have a dead battery for a year and not have to reflash the PCM, generally speaking.

Now what will happen is you will have to go back thru the basic relearn cycle and the adaptive strategy adjustments will begin from scratch, that always happens anytime you disconnect a battery or flash the PCM - but that Superchips program is still inside the PCM!
