Unhappy Governed Down

Was told to come here and ask for guidance. I have a '97 F150 Lariet, 4.6L, 110K miles and Flowmasters. It seems to be governed at about 95 mph. What are my options on how to remove this?

Get a chip or tuner... That'll let you raise it.

Hi 1,

Yes, we can easily take care of that for you - you can either give us a call at our number listed below, or you can drop by our web site at www.TroyerPerformance.com - click on "Shop" once the home page loads, then you'll see all the individual sections - Intake, Exhaust, etc. - enter the Superchips section and read up on Part#'s 1100, 1300 & especially #1715, the Micro Tuner - this is what I recommend you use, the Micro Tuner. It's a simple 10 minute installation & you'll pick up nice power & performance gains as well as getting rid of the top speed limiter!
You'll finally be able to get the performance that vehicle is capable of with a properly optimized powertrain program - you'll enjoy the vehicle much more.

Glad you stopped by here, & we hope you'll hang out here with us in your spare time!
