Troyer does it again.......
Troyer does it again.......
Good morning Mike...
Took the Cobra out last night and laid down some decent passes.
This one was the best, all others were 12.02 to 12.08.
Weather in the mid 60's, 52 % humidity, 2300 foot elevation.
Spinning the Mickeys with 15 # of air. (track sucked)
RT- .527
60 ft.-1.80
330 ft.-5.060
1/8 E/T- 7.773
1/8 mph-90.92
1000'-E/T-10.037
1/4 E/T-11.959
1/4 mph-117.86
Car is full weight and had 3/4 of a tank of fuel.
Just want to say "THANK YOU BUDDY" , and please get that race program chip to me. Not that the street tune isn't good or anything.
I earned the "11 SC SNK" plate I am sporting.
Marc

Hi Marc,
Nice R/T there, Marc - as usual.
That thing was *flying* in the second 1/8th mile - glad to see you already in the 11's - with just an intake kit, a 4 PSI pulley and our tuning - and that was at 2300 ft. elevation with sub-optimal traction & 3/4 tank of gas? Pretty darn good, I'd say.
At 2300 ft. you're down by about 7% on power compared to what it makes at sea level - at sea level, that same pass with no traction & a 1.80 short time would probably have been 11.75 (or better), with an easy 120 mph+ trap speed. Had it hooked up and been at sea level, maybe another tenth quicker.
The bottom line is that performance is *fantastic* for the mods done so far on that beast - congratulations on being solidly in the 11's at full weight!
Thanks for the kudos on our parts & tuning, it also takes a good driver - and your skills at the track are certainly showing again, Marc - as usual.
Nice job Marc, congrats on being in the 11's & have fun!
