Cobra chip

Just a quick note Mike to let you know I have the chip in, the air filter on, the Hurst in and adjusted, the TR-6's in and gapped at .035. The Metco 4# lower goes on Weds. night after work, and the Magnaflows next Friday. ( plugs took me 20 minutes)
The chip and plugs took the "shake" or "miss" that could be felt in the clutch pedal away. I had thought after reading all the threads over at SVTPerformance, that I was stuck with the miss. Well its gone. Thank you.
I do have a question. I noticed that the upshift arrow that the factory installs in the gauge cluster is gone. Is there any way to have it reinstalled so it comes on at around 6100 rpm? I know you know where I am going with this. That way I will not need to install a shift light.
By the way, I need to talk to you. I put my Buddies 96 LT-4 Grand Sport Vette away like he was standing still, and he wants to know what you can do for him with some mods. Please give me a call sometime this week if you can find time. You should be seeing a UPS from me this week.

Hi Marc,

Yeah, that's a typical comment we get back on those '03 Cobra's, is smoothing out the idle & low rpm shake you feel thru the clutch pedal, etc.

As we discussed over the phone today, nope, can't use that light as a programmed shift light @ 6100 rpm.

For your friend with the LT4 Corvette, yes, we can indeed hook him up very nicely, & that's right up my alley having owned 13 Corvettes previously, including the last Z07 ever made.

So yes, we can provide anything he needs to go faster, and that LT4 (which is rated at 330 HP but actually makes about 340-350 HP stock) is definitely going to need some help trying to keep up with your 2003 Cobra!

Just have him give us a call & we'll be happy to take care of him. Heck, I've still got an $800 set of hand-made stainless steel headers for the LT1 & LT4 Corvette I'd like to get rid of as well.

Have fun with the Cobra & talk to you soon!
