Hi Dave,
There's only 1 performance chip that actually tunes each vehicle individually according to it's exact PCM software revision, that tunes the engine for maximum HP & torque all the time at any throttle position or rpm, and that is also 50-state emissions certified, and that's the Superchip. If someone else were doing a better job, we'd be using them instead, as all we care about is getting the best performance & best powertrain programming/tuning to our customers, regardless of who makes it.
Here at Performance, we have specialized in the performance of the F-truck platform for many years, and have provided assistance with developing a lot of the programs Superchips offers for these trucks. Nobody makes more power safely, or can improve performance as much as the Superchips tuning does, as they simply have much more raw R&D into this platform than any other chipmaker. Of course, that's what you'd expect from the company that basically invented this industry 20 years ago, and Superchips has also done a lot of this work directly for many of the major automakers as well.
