? for Mike T.

Hi Mike, I enjoyed the conversation on the phone last week. I have a ?. I had my truck dyno'd and the #'s were a bit lower than I had expected RWHP-250, RWTQ-302. The flywheel was 320hp/408tq. From 3200rpm to 5300rpm most of my A/F was in the 10.0 to 11.9 showing me being way too rich. I talked to KB and asked the if I put a 8lb pulley on the truck will that lean my numbers up. They said yes it would. Is there any validity to that?I would much rather do that as a temp fix than have my chip reburned before I get all my mods together. The person at the dyno said I'm losing about 20hp. Also KB said I should see up to a 30hp increase going from a 6lb to a 8lb. They also said if I used their chip(junk) I wouldn't need a reburn. Maybe I need to e-mail you my dyno sheet? Thanks in advance.

Hi evo,

I don't know if we custom tuned your vehicle or not, as I deal with too many people to remember who is who here, you know how that goes. Which also means I don't remember what we may have discussed previously off the top of my head.

If we provided you with the custom tuning for that supercharger, then yes, we do want to see the A/F's & complete dyno data in case any adjustments need to be made. I have yet to see one of our tunes come in at 10:1 unless it's by specific request of the vehicle owner. There's a *big* difference between 10.0:1 and 11.9:1, so we'd have to see the entire graph for it to mean anything.

If you are having a problem with something you purchased from us, then by all means give us a call. If you're looking for us to fix something we didn't supply, we can quote you rates for that as well.

Talk to you soon,
