Speed Governer
Get a Superchip modual or tuner.
Don't forget, though, that the speed limiter is there in part to keep you from exceeding the speed rating of your tires. By removing the limiter you will be capable of exceeding the speed rating increasing the risk of catastrophic tire falure.
With that said..... before the Superchip I could barily do nintey-five. Now, well I can't really tell, the speedometer only goes to a hundred. I do keep the consequences in mind if I think I want to go fast though. It's better to be safe than splattered all over the highway!
Look out for Mike Troyer (Superchips_Distributer). He will give you the info you need to decide what you need and the place to purchase it from. You won't be sorry!

neal I didnt belive that it would work either until I tried it a few weeks ago. Come to find out it did work for me. I use to top out at 95 after trying this I was clocked (friend not cop) at 110. I have no mods other than a K&N filter on my truck. 01 xl

This one never happened, friends.
You can't just stomp on the gas pedal 3 times (or 100 times), or try running at fast as you can go 3 times, or pull a fuse & override a limiter, etc., or any other games or gimmicks like that to defeat the top speed limiter.
The top speed limiter in any 1997 & up F-150 can be anywhere from as low as just 95 mph to as high as 108 mph, with most of them being at 98 mph. The *only* way you're going to defeat that is with proper PCM reprogramming, as the PCM limits not just engine rpms, but also output shaft speed, etc. It is a physical impossibility for anyone to stomp on the gas pedal 3 times, or 50 times, and have that action give you the ability to exceed the existing top speed limiters in the various gears.
We've heard all the BS stories before, from pulling a certain fuse to driving it downhill to now this silly 3 times on the gas pedal nonsense, and NONE of these methods has *EVER* worked, nor will they ever work. Period. Anyone claiming they have done this is full of baloney, to put it politely.
It's an unfortunate fact of the Internet that someone will start a rumor like this (and it's usually kids), but it's even more unfortunate when a rumor like that is then repeated by others somewhere else, only then presented as "fact." The only "fact" in this case is that this is impossible.
In fact, even when the top speed limiter has been removed, unless you have 4.10 gears and/or significant mods, your top speed will come in 3rd gear in the automatics, and 4th gear in the 5-speed manuals, as they don't have enough power to pull them thru the air in Overdrive to those kinds of speeds.
For any of you that think this can work, by all means, have at it, just be careful & don't have an accident or get a ticket, etc. We'll try not to laugh *too* hard when it doesn't work.

So I'm sitting here late at night, can't sleep, so I'm spending some "quality" time surfing the forum.
This has got to be one of the funnier threads I have had the pleasure to read. I just keep seeing some guy cruising down the freeway at 95 as he stomps on the gas peddle over and over again, trying to figure out if maybe it's not working because he is not holding his lips just right.
All the while the rest of us know that this will only work if you thrust your body forward repeatedly to give it the extra push it needs to break past that "speed barrier" and fool the truck into not knowing which side of the barrier it's on.
I can't believe that you guys wouldn't share this info with the other guys so it will work for them too.
Rocks
P.S. I have also noticed I get past the barrier quicker if I put duct tape on my ears to keep the wind resistance down.
I sure hope this helps and please get videos for us.

Hi Rocks,
Sigh............... you had to do it, didn't you? You let the cat out of the bag, & now *everyone* will know the "rocking" technique that previously only a few of us were really aware of & had practiced down to an art form.
Actually, that is a technique I've seen used for years in lighter vehicles, like go-carts, for example. Coming out of every turn, and always when accelerrating, etc.
Thanks for the laughs as always, Ron!
