Hi, friends 2013 F 150 and mirror fell off windshield.....there seems to be a thin film of plastic on the window where the mirror was attached.....should I scrape that off before I try to glue the mirror back on ?

I would go to an auto glass place that does windshield replacements, and ask their advice and possibly just let them do it for you.

 

glc is correct, I would have a glass place do it.

 

might give it a whirl using this.....
