July 3rd Detail

Two bucket wash
Brand new clay bar over truck
Carnuba Cleaner Wax
Interior cleaner
Tire Dressing (after I took pics)

I just did a quick once over wash on Fiddy, she spends 95% of her time in the garage so she doesnt need as much to get her back into shape

My process was very similar, except:
- I didn't use the 2 bucket method (I never do)
- instead of cleaner wax I used Meguiars 105 and 205 via DA
- I followed the 105/205 combo with Meguiars Ultimate Wax (2 coats)
- I didn't take any pictures because the truck is white and doesn't give those supercool reflection shots like real colours do

Truck does look good though!

Do you find the new paint to be any different than the old in terms of resisting marring ?

I only hand wash it, hand waxed etc, but it does see a fair amount of abuse too, daily driven, also sees gravel/dirt roads, acid rain etc.

The paint is far from perfect even has several factory blemishes.

2 years later and now the front bumper has several rock chips, and one on top of the hood?

Overall pretty happy with the durability of the paint.
