Merlin,
Looks awesome. If it's anything like their EX-P, I'll be buying some when it comes out. Always liked the looks of that product. Tom |
Thank you! It was fun!
What I like about the new (pink) product is how shiny it makes the silver. It takes very little product, and this stuff is super easy to apply and remove. On the black paint we used PB Black Hole followed with Natty's Black paste wax. On the tonneau cover (fiberglass) he applied EX Sealant & let it sit (over an hour). PB EX "fills" the swirls & leaves a hard finish. EX can be layered and lasts for months. The more layers of EX the more it "fills". If you're looking for a "fix" without polish - EX. Steve spent quite a bit of time on the front grill & bug deflector. It now looks brand new! On the chrome wheels, I removed each wheel & used Poorboy’s Chrome Polish inside & out. While the wheels were off, I cleaned and dressed inside each wheel well, front, back and top. |

The new Poorboy's product(s) announced today at Detail Fest 2016
Attachment 2296 They are: Natty's Paste Wax - Black 8oz "Natty’s Black is great for all dark color finishes and is truly exceptional on black paint." and Liquid Natty's Red 16oz. "Liquid Natty's Red is an amazing formula that may be used on all paint colors and brings the level of gloss, slickness, and shine of a paste wax." Poorboy (Steve) and I used these to get Shamu ready for Detail Fest 2016 _________________________ Black Paint We started with Black Hole Show Glaze. It's formulated for dark colors. Then we applied Natty's Black Paste Wax on the hood & tops of fenders. Attachment 2297 Silver Paint We used Liquid Natty's Red on all the silver paint (sides, fenders etc.) Liquid Red added a shine and sparkle to the silver I'd never seen before. Now for the fun! I did two coats on two vehicles and barely used any Red! Attachment 2298 Front Grill He used Poorboy's non abrasive Professional Polish to clean and polish. Attachment 2299 Tonneau cover This is fiberglass & has always been a PITA for me to get a swirl free finish. What Steve (Poorboy) told and showed me is that EX fills without polishing. Fine scratches virtually disappear. Apply EX, let it sit an hour, then remove. Repeat if needed. If EX residue reappears on surface. Just wipe it off again. Attachment 2300 Final Note: Natty's liquid Red is Super easy on/off with lots of sparkle an shine. If you're looking for a deep, warm boutique wax look, Natty's liquid Red is not it. If you want bright, shiny & easy then Liquid Red is what you've been waiting for. |
Looks awesome!e Merlin! I haven't ventured into that product line yet. Definitely eventually though. Great job :beers:
