Angry Fly ***** on my truck?

I aint sure what it is, my girlfriends daddy says its fly *****! Little black specs thats really hard to get to come off. They just started to appear last week or two around here, eastern N.C.
What is it and is there something to prevent it or make it easier to remove?
Thanks for any suggestions!

It's probably road tar. Driving on any freshly paved roads lately?

Try some bug and tar remover. I'm sure it will wipe off easily.
Good luck.

Uh, take it from me right here in the heart of Iowa and in the heart of fly country, it truly IS FLY *****. They leave their little marks all over everything, especially at certain times of the year.

Yeah, it wipes off with a lot of water and elbow grease, but it can be irritating.

When I was a kid, my dad had a '70 (i think)Coronet R/T bannana yellow. The flies loved that thing. Same problem with the doo. He ended up making it into a patrol car but that's another story.

Bugs get bad this time of year. Keeping the area waxed heavily eases the removal. Letting them soak first when washing also helps. You just can't control nature !!

For the hard to remove spots do what the detailers do and use suntan oil and rub it lightly and it will take off any kind of tar fly scat??? etc.......................
