proper chrome wheel care or sealent ?

Keep them waxed with the same stuff you do your truck with. Synthetic wax or a dedicated wheel wax is best because it resists higher temperatures.

I have no patience for wax due to the amount of time it takes to apply/remove and in consideration of the intricate design of my wheels, ...although it's probably the best thing for them. If you're looking for something a little "easier", try Optimum Opti-Seal. You spray it on and wipe it off...minimal buffing.

Check out DP Wheel Glaze or Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. They are both more durable than wax and are specifically designed for wheels.
