Bloom Monster
I know this has more than likely been beat to a bloody pulp on this subject, but I've had it with this bloom on my rubber.
Never had a problem until I tried using APC on them. Tires were dirtier then normal from playing in the mud, and used the APC and bloomed like mad. Now I cant get rid if it. Scrubbed with nylon brush, Washed numerous times. The thing that gets me is after dressing, they do get black however I sometimes just want to wash and go, but the bloom monster wont let me! hehehe Cannot get the Westley's stuff around here to try it, so i'm open to suggestions. Thanks! |
Maybe try Ajax or Comet cleanser and a stiff scrub brush. That's what I use on whitewalls/white letters when I don't have Westley's.

Thanks Glc!
I'll give it a shot! |
It's possible that they can't sell that stuff in Canada. It's pretty caustic.

Not sure Glc,
I've yet to come across it in any auto parts or performance shops in the area. Going to try Ajax/Comet thing when I get done cleaning up my shop and the garage....should be done by September some time  |
I think I bought my last bottle of Westley's at Walmart.
