1993 Black F150 Detail

A friend of mine was asked to do some body work on the front spoiler. Basically rebuild it and repair it..which meant modify it to work again...when the owner dropped it off at his house he said " i really wish I could get this detailed too" That's where I come in. I saw the car yesterday and agreed to do it.

My plan was to wash
Clay
Correct
polish
Glaze
LSP

After the wash and the clay I did a test section with PB SSR1. Then tested the 205 and 105...105 was really the only thing working so I went with that.

Then I started on the hood and checked the pad after 1 pass....black paint. Why didn't black come off on the test panel? (more on that later)

After seeing that I changed my plan to PB PP and Black Hole then to Wet Obsession. I could have done more correction but to be totally honest, SS paint and me don't mix. i found out why the side panel has clear on it...there was body work done on the car a few years back and they did shoot clear on that section.

I was only able to make it look a little better. A few afters

I think you get the idea
