Autogeek Orange Low profile 5.5 inch pads

alright, I know AutoGeek has these on sale for a GREAT deal.. and since the Meguiar's pads are 8.95 a piece... I'm looking around at other options. How would these compare to the W8006? Anyone had any experience with them?

Those are good pads I have them in the 6.5" size. I can't answer the comparison as I have only used the LC pads

I have two full sets of the LC CCS 6.5" pads, I do like them for the size...still love my Lake VC's.

my opinion, you can never have too many. while not looking at what they have, are the LC CCS pads? If so, orange is a heave cut. Just an FYI

No there the older flat style. I have a good amount of them they work nicely. I will be picking up some of the CCS pads at some point. I did not like the VC pads.

I actually like the pattern on the Cobra Cross Grooves but am not sure if the colros are the same as the LC CCS. My guess is they are the exact same just a differant pattern

Cobra Cross.

I don't know those pads, however, several of the pad manufacturers will OEM pads for lots of vendors. So its anyone's guess.

ok .. second question... will the Lake Country pads (such as the CSS, mainly looking at the 5.5 inch) work with the meguiars backing plate that you get with one of the g100 kits ADS sells?

How big is the backing plate that ADS sends with the G100?

I suspect it is 6"

If so, they won't work...gotta go to the 6.5" CCS pads.

I bought this set:
http://www.autogeek.net/orange-pad-bundle.html
with 3.5" backing plate on 4" pads and used Meg's backing plate with the 5.5" pads. Those small pads were great on small panels and curved panels.
