Megs Last Touch Spray Detailer

What are everyones thoughts on this? Looking for an upgrade in this area and was wondering anyones experiences with this product. Pretty much it will be for claying/after washes.

Thanks,

Let me answer this another way.

Megs #34 Final Inspection is different that Last Touch.

I have them both but to this day, #34 is the better of the two for sure. #34 does cost about 2X what Last Touch costs but its a better product.

Last touch does tend to streak in my experince. I do keep it on my camper now but that is about all I will use it for.

Good catch. I've never used the Last Touch QD but will say #34 is the only one I've ever liked before.

Last Touch.

For the price, I think I might give one of the samplers from ADS a try. For claying, should I dilute at a 1:1 or just as a ready to use product?

Thanks again for all of your help guys.

No reason to dilute a QD. Now if you were using ONR you can mix that as a lube for clay or wash or QD.

Several here do that but I prefer to use #34 as a lube for clay. ONR has its place but its no miracle worker.

due to price would it not be advisable to just use the regular QD for clay and use the final inspection or last touch for true QD'ing?

i know people over at MOL recommend cutting last touch 1:1 for claying, I always just use the quik detailer in the maroon bottle.. i can usually find it pretty cheap.

Not sure what a "regular QD" is.

I think I follow your statement here but if you were just using the "kit" that comes with a really, really mild clay, sure.

If you use a stronger clay like Megs Blue or Clay Magic or Poorboys Clay, I would HIGHLY recommend using a quality lube QD like #34.

But hey, what do I know? It's just my opinion based on my experience. Take that for whatever its worth.

EDIT: i do recall reading some that cut Last Touch, but its already really thin. Not sure I would like that.

Personally i have a gallon of Last Touch, and i think it is a bit subpar for after washes. It is streaky.....but i will say that it is my go to clay lube, and i dilute 1:1. It leaves a good gloss and there is really no reason for it to have to be 100% streak free in this application, that is why this is all the action it gets.

Yeah, primarily I will be using it with Megs blue (mild) clay. I may occasionally use it for after washes.

Thanks, that was exaclty what I was looking for.
