I used there aerasol version for the first time yesterday.I was not impressed with it at all.I had been using Armor-All non-aerasol with great results but read alot about Stoners here and decided to try it.I'm going back to Armor-All.

Stoner's personal lubricant? Stoner's IG? Stoner's trim shine? Stoner's bug & tar remover? Stoner's spermicide?

They make several products ya know? By far and away, their most popular product is Invisible Glass...most (including me) don't really care for many of their other products... If you like AA, stick with it. It's not the crap product that our father's may have used several years ago...

Speaking of Stoners Glass cleaner---

I've used it for about a year now, and have loved it. Exept for the other day, I tried to use it to get sap off the glass (the same kind that came off with just a simple wash and the same kind that comes off with QD spray), and it streaked like crazy. so I threw out my newspaper, and grabbed an MF and recleaned all the glass, which streaked, but not as bad. Since I had to leave, I just dealt with it, but I'd like to know what I can do to avoid this.

My theory is that next time I should wash first (I didn't have time that day), and let the wash remove the sap, and clean the glass afterwards. I'll try this next time I get the chance and post. In the mean time, any ideas???

Thanks

Oh--RP--very funny. Blue Oval fitter--sorry you don't like Stoners. Which product did you use, and which armorall produt did you use, and what aspects made you choose AA over Stiners? Just Curious...

I use Stoner's Invisable Glass. I don't see how anything could work any better.

If he's talking about the More Shine, Less Time tire dressing as compared to Armor All, I'm a bit puzzled. I use both that Stoner's product and the Invisible Glass glass cleaner and love them both. Yes, if you slobber too much MSLT on the tires, you'll get some sling off, but nothing like the "personal lubricant" RP mentioned.

I don't know 2stroked.... That may be a slightly different type of 'sling'.

RP,

My thoughts exactly. Glad the old sense of humor has returned! :rocker:

if you are looking to remove sap off the GLASS ONLY, I'd hit it with an ice cube and then scrape it with a razor blade. The ice hardens the sap and makes it easier for the blade to take it off in one piece.

IMO all stoner's products that I tried were crap except invisable glass.. That stuff is the best.

BlueOvalFitter Nov 27, 2006 07:07 PM

Sorry,it was the Stoners invisible glass. And,i've gone back to the AA non-aerasol glass cleaner.

I think the ArmorAll glass cleaner is tops... and then again, I have plenty of Stoners stuff that I love.

I really like Stoners glass cleaner. One of the best I have tried.

Stoners makes a spermicide?!? When I imagine the application technique, I'm thinking that would be the last date......

Rockpick Nov 27, 2006 10:23 PM

Nearly everything that they sell is in an aerosol can... imagine the possibilities... ;)

I will say, though, ever since Gipraw suggested giving the non-aerosol IG a try, I don't think I'll go back to the original. I LOVE the spray version!

I'd have to agree!
