Reminder: It's Starting To Get Cold...
It's starting to get cold and most of us don't have the luxury of heated garages. As such, this is your friendly reminder to bring in your car care products as many of them can (and will) freeze and separate. Some, of course, will be okay out there but, others will be ruined and/or will affect their abilities.
Just a friendly reminder... (p.s) All you folks down in Florida and such need not respond nor read this thread. LOL! |
All are warm and secure in their dedicated cabinet in the garage... :p

ahhhhhh...one more reason to love living in Southern California. But thanks, for the warning anyways. :D

Hey RP,
Are we safe if we just keep the garage at 40 to 50 degrees with the car cleaning products in there? Thanks, Duke |

Have a shelf in the laundry room with all my stuff on it & laundry room is nice & warm. Well bummer Triton has to freeze his differential off in the driveway... ( yes, my vehicles have genders & are like ppl to me lmao )
Atleast my 2002 Trans Am WS6 is at my parents stored in the back of a huge garage climate controlled at 75 degrees with a nice thick car cover on, rest well this winter sleeping beauty  |

As some chemicals are exposed to cooler temps, they'll begin to become problematic (viscous, etc). Remember, every chemical has a unique freeze/flash point. They're not all 32F/0C. I'd bring them in for anything less than 50F but, that's just me. |

All of my stuff is stored in my nice warm basement. As a matter of fact, it was down to 30 here last night and they are talking about the possibility of some light snow on Sunday
