Time for a new wheel/tire cleaner

Alright, I've got to go out and get new tire/wheel cleaner. I've used up all of my Meguiars Hot Rim's, Westley's Bleach White and Michelin Wheel & Tire Cleaner.

I'm thinking about trying out the Mothers FX Wheel Cleaner or just getting another bottle of Hot Rims. If I pick up the FX I'll probably get the tire shine to, just to check it out. I love my Meguiars Endurance but if I try one thing I'll give another a shot too.

I bought Castrol All Wheel Cleaner today from AZ. I'll let you know how it works out. If it works anything like their Degreaser it will stay on my shelf.

I've just used simple green then a tire dressing over that. So far, it works.

If you wax your wheels say good bye to the protection of the wax.

This is what I do and I've found it works the best.

1. Wash Wheels/Tires with Soap/Water.
2. Dry Wheels
3. Apply Tire Dressing (Eagle 1) on a Tire Sponge.
4. Spray and Wipe off Michellin Brake Dust Repellent.

and than about every month I'll wax my wheels with whatever Im waxing my truck with.

I guess I should have specified......Yea that's true. I've used it to get all the other *&^%$ off.

I've tried them all...

Well, almost. So far the one I like best is Eagle One's A to Z wheel and tire cleaner. This stuff rocks. They recently made a formula change so it's thicker and clings better...

1) A to Z cleaner Eagle One
2) Westelys Bleach white for lettering
3) Meguiars Hot Shine tire spray
This is my combination!

Whatever you opt to utilize on your tires, please make sure you keep it off of your wheels.

Most 'tire cleaner' products out there are pretty caustic and can cause pitting and other metal problems when exposed to the wheels...

Food for thought...
