MeGuiars Centennial Collection

I just ordered the centennial collection kit with the d/a polisher from meguiars.

It looks like it has alot of products, plus I wanted the d/a polisher and it was in the kit.

I also ordered the organizer with bucket and gritt guard.

Hopefully this will get me on my way to removing and preventing swirls on my truck.

I think it'll be a nice investment in your truck. The key is to use the products often and with correct procdure and technique. Best of luck and don't hesitate to ask questions if you have them...

Had to go back and edit my spelling of the meguiars name....I guess I should learn to spell it right if I am going to give them 500 bucks.

I trust you dropped a certain Kentuckian's name when ordering? Please, for the love of god, tell me you did? LOL!

Not to discourage you from buying the AirBlaster but, I have a really nice ShopVac that converts to a blower and does a helluva good job...

I have the Metro AirBlaster, comes with different nozzles. Really gets the water out of all of the crevices we have on the trucks. I used to use the Vac and Blo, but was worried about any dust or dirt particles in the hose from vacuuming. The AirBlaster also heats the air slightly, helps when you are using it during the winter months.

I have not placed my order with them yet. I was waiting to see what others said about the wolfgang products before I ordered.

Don't worry when I order, your name will be dropped.

Yea, I was thinking of getting the Air Force Blaster too? I guess the main advantage that it would have over the Shop Vac, is the fact that the Blaster has a filter to minimize the dirt getting from getting on the paint. The fact that it should be smaller and lighter doesn't hurt either.

Which one do you have? The single 4 HP, or the twin 4 HP?

Boss, I have the smaller of the two. I can't imagine how much more powerful the larger one is, lol. The small one moves a lot of air, feels like an air compressor. On top of the 04 F150's, there are deep grooves that holds water, the blower easily removes all of this water. I am now only using one Big Blue ww MF towel, instead of two towels when I dry the truck. Easily removes all of the water that gets between the plastic vinyl trim and body. Even on the back bumper and side steps (nerf bars). IMO, well worth the money. Besides, I got free shipping from PAC, along with some other goodies while the big sale was going on.

AhsGrad1973,

Thanks!

I'll look into the smaller one. Now I just need a way to justify spending $200 to "blow dry" my vehicles!

I'll wait for my wife to buy something "stupid"........... that shouldn't take long!

The Metro Airblaster sounds similar to something I use for blowing off my truck.

I use a blower that is marketed as a grooming device for llamas. My wife uses it to blow dirt and other nastiness out of their fiber before she shows them. I use it on my truck and it really blows air. It looks like a canister type vac and "only" cost about $180 if I remember right.

I suppose you could use just about anything that blows air with some amount of force.
