Meguiar's Gift Package at Circuit City...

Has anoyone else? Is this "Totally last year!"? If so, sorry.

I was at Circuit City this morning trying to get a quick fix for my XM Radio (don't get me started), and saw THIS.

It seems like a package deal. It is hard for me to go to the store and find out what I want/need, because I don't know much about exterior care. I always buy the decent stuff and the decent price...not the most expensive, not the cheapest.

Anyway, after seeing all of the talk about Meguiar's, and looking at AutoZone and a few other places, I was a little shocked to see it at Circuit City.

What do yall think? Good deal? Good price for what's included?

Thanks in advance

The High Endurance Tire Gel, Color X, and Quick Detailer spray are some good products. As for the other two products, I can't say. Rockpick will be able to tell you. BTW, did you get a new antenna for the XM? The new ones are really small, for a good signal, you need at least 3 bars.

Well, if they are the reqular size items, that is a very good price indeed.

While that kit includes some products that are probably not for the serious enthusiast, they certainly are products that can be used, and will give good results.

If they're all retail sizes, that's a killer deal.

I never dreamed that CC would be selling Meguiar's... honestly, I'm a bit disappointed.

Yeah... I know.

I'm still not sure if that's a good thing or not. I know they want the consumer market share but, it seems that putting some of their products in some markets (aka: the convenience stores) is a bit over the edge.

God help us if we ever see a beige bottle on the shelf at a Seven - Eleven...

I agree! It does seem kind of "chinsy". Unfortunately, it's all about market share, and money............ other manufacturers do it, and still others would if they could. :(

Nah just air dry...had to remove it with Stoners...other wise the clean alone looks great

Hmph... I'm not sure what to tell you Tex. I've blown through a little over a gallon of the stuff to date and I've never experienced that problem.

Keep us posted the next time you use it and let us know how it works. I wonder if it was a fluke...

Hey Tex- Maybe the quality of water? My old house had what my plumber said was "hard water" and was told to have a water softener installed. It apparently had high levels of lime in it, which caused water spotting. Never installed the softener, just sold the stupid place instead. just my .02

Any standing water on glass or paint should be removed with a towel(s). No matter what the car wash has in it to prevent water spots, they still can happen.
