303 protect ?? good ??
My dad sweat about this one for his boat and car..
Want to double check with you first.. It will be for my 04 F150 plastic rail top of bed and wheel wheel lips and Access cover bed. http://www.303products.com/main.php?infopage=protectant What do you think?? Thanks! YOMAN! |
I love 303. It protects well, holds up (except it will wash off a little) and gives most vinyls and rubber a nice deep black look w/o the annoying shine.
Try it out. If you like it, great! If not... well detailing is a lot of hit & miss. Some folks like some products, others don't! |
303 is pretty good stuff. I think you'll be pleased.
If you're unable to find 303, you may also try Vinylex (also available in a very handy dandy wipe) or Meguiar's #40. All three are excellent products. RP :D |

I like it so much I bought a gallon of 303 Protectant.
|
WOw, alrite then i ll pick one up from West Marine (boat store)!
Do you think it will remove WHITE wax ha ;) ?? Thanks! YOMAN! |
Yep..also use it on your interior vinyl
|
I bought 303 at West Marine, seems to work good on tonneau cover and other plastics. It will run and streak on the finish, so buff it good on the plastic bed runners.
|
I like it mailnly for the non slip of it, I use it on my running boards, it looks good , and is useable there without making them totally slippery.
|
rush0212,
You use it on your running boards because its not slippery? That doesn't sound like the 303 I use. There is no way I'd put that on my running boards:confused: |
It is true, I too use it anywhere feet goes that is vinyl or plastic, rear bumper, running boards, and floor mats. I use the NXT Protectant or Poorboys Natural Look everywhere else.
