car insurance in Canada
Hello,
my 19 years old son want to make work and travel in Canada before he begin study next year.
So last week he flew to NY and took the Bus to Detroit where he bought a 1995 F150 with the 5.8 ltr, Aut, Crew cab and short Bed.
The plan is to drive with this Truck 6 to 8 month trough Canada and maybe bring this Truck to Germany after this time.
Now the question.
Is it better to make the insurance directly in Detroit and drive than completely with the US insurance trough Canada or is it better to make a short time insurance (its very expensive) in the US and look for an insurance in Canada.
What will he need to get an reasonable insurance in the US or in Canada.
