Getting no joy in my pocket when I'm gassing up to $120.00 cdn. to fill up my 135 LT tank still like my 04 f-150, but if I did not need my truck for work, I would trade it asap. payments, insurance and flue are getting steap..

Prices are the same in the Edmonton area.

Fuel Prices

One brighter spot is the Superstore gas bar rebate of $.07/ltr. Helps as long as you are going to shop there anyhow.

In Yellowknife gas is between 98.9 and 1.02 a litre up here, get cheap gas through the company i work for though, so am paying mid 70's to mid 80's a month, changes every month. So am happy:)

93.4 today in kamloops, BC. $120 to fill the truck:eek: . I can only imagine how high it will be this summer when the price usually goes up for the summer traffic.

Price here in Toronto is 93.9. We are also facing a TTC strike (Public Transport), and consumer groups are warning that gas stations will take advantage of this to hike the price to over $1.05 per litre. This is BS as fuel is regulated by the price at the barrel head. Just another reason for the fuel companies to gouge us.

Has anybody else noticed that when the price of crude goes up, the price at the pump jumps instantly. When the price of crude goes down however, the price at the pump drops ever so slowly.

BTW it really p!sses me off that I'm paying the same in Winnipeg as I would in Toronto. Considering how much higher the cost of living is in T.O., there's no reason to be paying so much in Winterpeg.

Whew! That was a good rant. I feel better! Thank you for your tolerence.:bows:

Well like I've always said BC means Bring Cash. The price for regular unleaded jumped here in beautiful Victoria to 102.9 !!!!!!!
What a rip... I know it will only get worse as it gets warmer... I know I will be using my 4 cyclinder accord a lot more along with the pedal of the bicycle for every day running around....:(

notice that when crude goes up 2%, retail price goes up 4%?

even though refining, transportation, retailing costs and most of the taxes are fixed?

Good point J-150. The government adjusts it's tax base maybe once a year. Meanwhile the price of fuel fluctuates up and down (mostly up) dozens of times throughout the same year. The fuel companies like to blame the government for the high prices, but they have total control over what they charge.

mudflinger150 04-10-2005 01:13 PM
