Hello. This is how I buy new trucks and cars. I have a 2012 F150 EB. on its way. Go to the ford website and build the truck that you want. Take that info. and subtract about $3000.00 from that number. Call a local ford dealer,speak to the fleet salesman. Tell him that you are looking to order a new truck. Fax or email the the build sheet with the lower price. Tell the fleet guy this is your best price so far. He will give you a lower price than the one you gave him. This price is less tax, license, or rebates. Then the price he gives you subtract $1000.00 from that amount and use that new number to give to another dealer.Repeat the same process with another dealer. You will get to the point that the lowest price you get to will be below msrp dealer invoice and x plan.The point with this process is that you make the salesman work the numbers for them to make a sale. You will only have to go to one dealer if you are happy with your final price to sign papers and a deposit check.It comes down to how much profit they want to make and and another unit sold. Thanks
