Roll up low profile tonneau - get what you pay for?

There are so many options out there from $250-400+. On the high end is the Lo-pro, and then there is everyone else. I have been able to find what appears to be the Lo-pro Ford version for a price lower than anyone has the Lo-pro for sale online. Looking at videos and photos online makes it impossible to tell any significant difference between them all. The Lo-pro does seem to have a few more bells and whistles, but I'm not sure if it justifies another $150.

Any first hand experience?

Is there a reason you're looking at roll specifically?

How often would you plan on having it rolled open and the bed full of large items?

Me personally I went with the Bakflip G2, tri- folding hard cover. But also light enough to be removed by myself. Two large plastic nuts release the entire cover if I need even more space, or choose to not have to drive with it up against the cab.

I know it's not for everyone. It's much more convient than I thouhght before I bought it, and I do something at least once a month.

Like I said, two large nuts and the whole cover can come off the mounting rails if needed.

Good luck in finding what's right for you

I ran the Access Low Pro for many years until I needed a secure topper, loved it. Good quality and stayed tight. We've seen some cheaper ones (can't recall the brands - Mustang was one) on some of our work trucks, definitely not as good.
