Which to buy - Extang Revolution or Truxedo lo Pro

Which is the better tonneau cover?

I cannot decide between the 2............

I have the Extang and as long as you don't have a lot of wind where you live it should work, if you do go for one with velcro. It will "flap" with the wind if you do and sometimes I feel like the latches will fail.(we have extremely strong winds here in the panhandle) I may be looking for one with velcro down the rails in the near future to see how much it helps.

That's great info - been leaning towards the Truxedo Lo Pro anyways......

The Extang "Express" also has the velcro. I have it on my F150 and liked it so well I bought another one for my wife's Nissan. So far, no problems.

I have the TruXedo Lo Pro and I love it. It's easy to open and close. If you take the time to go around and stretch it down over the velcro it doesn't flap as bad in the wind. Also, with the way it clamps down at the back of the truck there's no way it could come off. Even if the latch failed it would still be hooked in there well enough that you could notice it and stop.

I also have a truxedo lo pro and LOVE it so far. It has the automatic compensating tension system that deals with change in temperature. I actually just adjusted mine (which is super easy) for my 80 degree temp change from winter to summer, rock solid. Absolutely NO complaints here!!!!

Guess I am going to go with the Truxedo Lo Pro - Getting permission from the boss (wife) to order it.

Thanks for all the replies.....

I have the TruXedo Lo Pro QT came to me on my '07 back in 2009, it is sweet but worried about snow loads, I replaced with a hard cover from Undercover. I often think about swapping back for the roll up ability. I saw a video of a "big ol' boy" rolling around on the TruXedo, it held up. Now my truck sits under a carport, so maybe I don't need to worry about snow loads? I don't know about now, but the one for my truck rolls up, can be easily removed in total once rolled up with a pull of two tabs at the front. As it was unrolled, simple to press velcro along sides and once rolled out, rear latch is trapped under the tailgate so it doesn't open without first opening the tailgate. It has support at both ends when closed and has two bows sewed in too. Tailgate has a lock.

I might just swap back to get some use out of it ... just hang my Undercover up? Be really easy to swap as the TruXedo uses a single long piece each side which has the velcro on it, and it clamps to the truck. My Undercover uses 4 shorter pieces , 2 each side but I used bolts for them, so they'd go back in position.

I think I will swap back ... for awhile anyway.

My Truxedo lasted 9 years. The vinyl flapping on the freeway didn't bother me. The Velcro glued to the side rails dried and pieces disintegrated. Truxedo sent new side rails. The Velcro on the cover started to come off. The stitches broke. Truxedo decided that the warranty no longer applied. No replacement for the vinyl sheet.

I bought a Rugged Liner trifold hard liner. It's still working. But I do miss the convenience of a roll up cover.

Truxedo gave a 5 year warranty. Rugged Liner gave a 3 year warranty.
