Here's my Herculiner

Installation was pretty straight forward although my arm was about to fall off from all the scuffing of the bed. Lookswise, I'll put it up against anything 400 bucks and up i.e. Line-X, Rhinoliner, etc., although the jury is out on longevity and durability, although for 90 bucks, I'm satsfied. This solution I think was good for me, as I don't really haul anything. We'll see!

I think it looks good, although, i went with Rhino, as i got a good deal from my buddy that works for a Truck shop (200 otd.) couldnt pass it up..but thats looks great!

How hard was it???

if you prepped it good it will last, i have had mine for 2 years and some months in mine and it has held up for the most part it has discolerd some due to mud and dirt and the like in the bed but a quick cout of spray paint fixes that, and like you said $90 cant be beat

I prepped really well, scuffed the heck outta the bed, thank god it was only 5.5 foot box! Very easy to do if you take your time and don't rush the job. Glad y'all like it.

Only one thread on the Herc and the rest is lineX vs Rhino.
I would assume that is because there are not many DIYer's here???
I come from the Jeep world where we rebuild carbs and trannies ourselves. :coffee:
anyhoo, I'm thinking cheapest/best route would be the Herc underneath one of them fancy bed rugs. Thoughts?

bedrug will not work with a spray on being you have to use velcro for the budrug to the body . you could use a adhisive to mount it but then . you would be ruining the liner you used . and as for the diy guys why go with a product that i have seen time and time again fail . have sprayed a couple trucks over that had herc in it and the extra charge when you have to peel it out then the 90 bucks just turned into about 700

hasnt failed me and i abuse the hell out of mine been in there for 2 years and some change i would rather do it myself every 5 years or however long the hurculiner lasts than pay $700 i could do the hurculiner 7 and a half times for that price, just my way of thinking pay $90 bucks or pay $700 for the same stuff
