Mirrors

K, I found a set of mirriors that I'd really like to get for my '02 Screw. Says they fit Regular and Super Cabs... Not SuperCrews... What's the differance? Aren't the doors and the moldings the same?

No the screws and expeditions have a fatter rubber trim under the glass, and the mirror base is longer to wrap over that on the screw/expy

Got ya. Would it be able to be fitted with some trimming and gental persuasion? Or just a no go...

They could be retrofitted, but it would take some work. The screws have bigger bases and the bolts are farther apart.

I may have found a solution... They're not towing mirrors like what I was shooting for, rather, they are mirrors off of a 2004 Expedition... The bases appear identical... Will do further research to confirm. If this is indeed the case, it'll be the route I take.

yes they are the same, they look a little bulky and boxy but the will bolt on just fine. Dont remember if the electronics is plug and play, you may have to cut and splice your old connectors on them to make them fit.
