Nfab Nerf Bar Help

Hey so im looking into getting myself a set of Nfab nerf bars, I just took off my big country steps. There is the option of wheel to wheel or something else (Dont remember other word) . Is the only difference that its a bit shorter?

Also any idea where would be the best prie to get it?

I got quoted from Four Wheel Parts for $400

And found a new set on Craigslist for $275 (Trying to get a hold of him now)

Thanks for the help

Wheel to wheel is just that, it goes from the front to the back tire. The other is Cab length. The cab length stops after the cab. Also look at the Dominator 2 or 3 by go rhino. Real similar, nerf bar.

Ive had the Go Rhino's on my toyota and I now currently have the N-Fabs Cab length on my FX4. I like the like look of the cab length better, esp on a screw, the wheel to wheel just appear huge. But it is handy having a step to get up into the bed.

The N-Fab's are a better built unit IMO. They have a larger diameter main bar and welded on steps rather than bolted on. But word of advice, get stainless hardware to mount it, they give you cheap bolts and washers that will no doubt rust underneath your truck in no time at all.

The N-Fab steps are a really good construction. The $400 is a good price. We can get them from one of our suppliers but and we charge about $400 for them as well but double check shipping if you are having it shipped. Its an oversize item and the box weighs a ton. I bet your looking close to $60 shipping which is about what we charge on shipping for bars.

yeah i think i want the nfab for the name and stuff, but now i just need to decide cab length or wheel to wheel.

Where can i get the better mounting hardware you talked about OXFx4? and how much will it cost me?

Get the 6 step! The old man has them on his truck and seemed to work out well so I just ordered a set for my truck last month. Only issue is they don't stick out as much as I would like. It seems like when I get out I have to kind look for the step with my foot they're so close to the cab. You'll get used to them though.

I have the cab length on my truck. Had them painted to match from the factory.

Just got an email from 4WheelParts today... they are having a sale on the NFabs

Oh thanks I'll be sure to give them a call, I'm leaning towards the black cab length. Thanks for all the help.

go pick them up from n-fab? they are in north houston off stuebner. maybe you can save money, if 4 wheel parts has 10 % off and 50 rebate that wouldn't be terrible.

Dasenger 04-10-2011 04:30 PM

oh yeah, unless i find a good deal of a used set from here or craigslist, ill probably go directly through nfab

Doslariats 04-10-2011 10:23 PM

4wheelparts is going to tell you they will have them in 2-3 days, I ordered mine March 12th and they're still not in. If you could go straight to the factory I would...

i found a guy on craigslist selling his truck, same model and year as mine. so i offered him $100 cash and my Big Country steps. So hopefully that will work out
